Pet Therapy Dog Teams

After years of devoted service, companionship, and community work. 

Community Pet Therapy Dog and Teams need to retire. This could be due to multiple of reasons however the most common is the aging of the dog, requiring a quieter lifestyle.

We monitor teams yearly, as a dog ages ... occasionally the dog doesn’t meet the high standard required to fulfill a successful working partnership, and the TDS Inc Management Committee or owner has to make the difficult decision to withdraw it from the pet therapy dog program.

 

Though this is very upsetting and disappointing for all involved,

we always put the animal's health needs first.
