Our heartfelt condolences go out to Michael whom has recently lost his companion and we have lost a valued therapy animal Sunny, the loss we learned of while Michael and Sunny were away holidaying, it is suspected that sunny either ate a blow fish or was bitten by a snake. Michael rushed him to the nearest vet, 45 mins drive, where Sunny passed in Michael's arms.
The impact of their work will be felt for years to come. Our pets provide us with so much unconditional love and companionship, and we immediately recognise the pain and absence of it upon their passing. Some people say grief is the pain of loving so much. The immeasurable love exuded by Sunny melted any hard heart. Attractive eyes, smile and soft fur made adventures for owner Michael and Sunny purposeful. People lit up and opened hearts to Sunny with just a glimpse. Often children and adults asked to pet and visit with him for stress relief and comradery.
