Account Access via Member Dashboard
Your individual Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre account provides you with access to a range of resources and services, including courses content, certificates, tax invoices, your member dashboard, and more. To access your account and membership resources, you require:
An appropriate computer device (laptop/desktop computer or mobile device);
Internet connection (for video content access, a broadband connection is recommended);
Up-to-date internet browsing software (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome);
PDF Reader (to open/download PDF files).
Subscription to courses is only available while you are a financial member, via your online profile. If you cancel or fail to renew your membership, you will not be able to access course content in your member dashboard, nor enrol in new courses.
If you cancel or fail to renew your account, you will still be able to login to your member dashboard and update your details; access course and payment history (such as tax invoices, certificates, profile information, etc.); and renew your access.
Video content is provided by independent content providers. Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre does its best to review video content and its relevance for members. It is, however, the responsibility of the independent content provider to ensure content is accurate, relevant and of an appropriate standard prior to it being published by Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre. Nonetheless, we will strive to make the highest quality of video content available to members.

Membership types provide you with access to all text-based courses (Standard memberships); or all of both text and video-based courses (Premium Memberships). If you have a Standard membership type, you will not be able to enrol in video-based courses. You can, however, upgrade your membership to Premium at any time to gain access to video-based courses.
Membership Fee Payment Options
You may opt to pay your membership fees monthly (whereby you are deducted ongoing monthly fees), or annually (whereby you pay an annual upfront, discount fee). By choosing to pay monthly, you agree to abide by the minimum 12-month membership term applicable to all monthly memberships (unless stated otherwise, see the ‘Events, Trials and Promotions’ section below).
Unless a cancellation request has been provided in writing (see the ‘Cancellation of Access’ section below), your monthly or annual membership will be renewed automatically at the expiry of your monthly or annual billing cycle. Annual members due for renewal will be sent email reminders prior to the renewal date.
If you are a Standard member, you can upgrade your membership to Premium at any time. If you choose to upgrade to Premium, you forfeit any pre-paid portion of your current membership cycle. This applies to monthly and annual membership holders. For example, if you have a Standard membership paid annually which is due to expire in 3 months, and you upgrade your membership to Premium, your billing cycle will be re-set from the date your upgrade request has been processed, not at the expiry of your current cycle (in this example, 3 months).
Masterclass Days are 1-day events hosted by Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre, and available to both members and non-members. Premium Members can register for Masterclass Days at no additional cost. Standard Members and non-members have the option to upgrade to Premium Membership to access the event at no additional cost, or pay an attendance fee. Further terms and conditions specific to Masterclass Days are available via each event’s promotional/registration page.
Cancellation of Membership
To cancel your membership you are required to submit a cancellation request by email to email@example.com a minimum of 3 working days before the due date of your membership cycle.
Unless stated otherwise (see the ‘Special Offers’ section below), the associated cost of a Monthly Membership is for the full duration of the minimum term (i.e. 12 months). Cancellations received within the minimum term period will accrue a cancellation fee equal to the unpaid portion of the minimum term. For example, a cancellation received 3 months prior to the end of the membership period will accrue a cancellation fee of 3 times the monthly membership fee. The cancellation fee will be applied automatically upon processing of cancellation to the account’s registered credit card.
To discontinue any membership, members must follow the procedure for ‘Cancellation of Access’ outlined above. The outcome of failing to carry out a cancellation request as outlined above (e.g. emailing the wrong email address) is solely the members’ responsibility.
Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre membership registration includes a 7 - day money back guarantee. Members who first join Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre may request cancellation and a full refund of monies paid within 7 days of joining. The 7-day money back guarantee is only applicable to new membership registrations (membership renewals & upgrades are excluded). Requests are to be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org Requests for cancellation of Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre membership outside of the 7-day guarantee period are processed in accord with the terms stated in the “Cancellation of Membership” section above.
This policy applies irrespective of whether or not you have logged on to your member dashboard and utilised membership resources. Refunds may be provided in special circumstances in accord with Australian Consumer Law.
Events, Trials and Promotions
Events, trials and promotions are subject to specific terms and conditions outlined at the time of offer – via the offer’s specific registration/promotional page.
Events: From time to time, Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre delivers or manages special events that are additional to its membership offerings. These events are subject to specific terms and conditions outlined at the time of offer.
Trials and Promotions: Unless stated otherwise, Trials provide access for the specified time at a promotional rate, at the completion of which participants automatically become fully active members and their account is debited the full membership amount for subsequent payment cycles. These conditions are clearly stated at the time of a promotion in the relevant webpages and email reminders following registration to the trial or promotion. To terminate a Trial prior to becoming member and incurring membership fees, the participant must provide notification (as per ‘Cancellation of Access’ procedure outlined above). Other Promotions, which may include bonuses and/or discounts, are also subject to specific Terms and Conditions available via the offer’s specific registration/promotional page.
Social Impact Programs
Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre contributes to a number of social impact programs acting locally and globally. Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre contributes a portion of membership fees to various charitable projects, at its discretion. Therapy Dog Registry and Training Centre publishes its donations on its website and in regular reports to members.
